Da Nang has so many hotel options for you to choose from, so it might be hard for you to find the best places to stay in Da Nang.
As I mentioned in other posts, I used to own a travel boutique in Vietnam for nearly 10 years. When I organised a tour for my customers, I often booked mid-ranged service (3-star standard) and luxury service (5-star hotels and resorts).
I often visited and checked the places before I booked the services, and then, I get feedback from my customers who stayed and used the services.
Top 5 luxury hotels and resorts in Da Nang
1. InterContinental DANANG Peninsula Resort – The most luxurious resort in Da Nang
This is the most luxurious resort in Da Nang, and it is located in Son Tra peninsular. It has its own private beach in the most beautiful part of Da Nang. When you stay in this resort, you will be in the most beautiful part of the city. It would be a great place to spend on your honeymoon.
Many wealthy Vietnamese people pick this place for their honeymoon or wedding place. I helped a few of my Vietnamese customers book this hotel to organise their wedding event here.
The only thing that I think is inconvenient is the location is away from Da Nang city. When you want to try local food then, you have to catch a taxi to the city for lunch or dinner. However, Da Nang city is very small, so it does not take long to get into the city centre.
2. Pullman Danang Beach Resort
Pullman Danang Beach Resort is the next luxurious resort in Da Nang. It is not only because of the service but also the location. This place is near the city enough to enjoy local food and activities, and it is also far enough to enjoy the quiet and beauty of the Da Nang beach.
The hotel is located on the border between Non Nuoc Beach and My Khe beach, the two most beautiful beaches in Da Nang city.
3. Peninsula Hotel Da Nang
This hotel I often booked this for my Singaporean and Malaysian customers. The hotel is located near the Son Tra peninsula near many seafood restaurants. Also, there is an Indian restaurant that serves Halal food. Therefore, it is a very luxurious hotel with good services and a convenient location.
I got good reviews from my customers, I often booked their service again for the customers who wanted 5-star standard but not too expensive.
4. Vinpearl Da Nang Resorts & Hotels
Vinpearl hotel and resort chain is very well-known among Vietnamese tourists and Asian tourists. Many Vietnamese customers or Viet Kieu (Vietnamese people living overseas) asked to stay in this hotel when they are in Vietnam.
I stayed in this resort once when I first came to Da Nang because of the good deal that they gave to travel agents. For me, the service and the location are amazing, If I remember correctly, they provide free scheduled shuttle buses to Hoi An Ancient Town and Da Nang city. You can check this out if you stay here.
5. Grand Mecure Da Nang Hotel
Grand Mecure Da Nang Hotel is located on Green Island – the most luxurious location in Da Nang. If you are on a business trip this will be a great location because it is close to the city and not too far from the beach. You can enjoy the amazing views of the Han river and Tran Thi Ly bridge – the amazing architecture as well as Asian Park.
I booked this hotel for my customers who only had one night in Da Nang, and the next morning they needed to get a morning flight from Da Nang airport.
Top 3 mid-range hotels and resorts in Da Nang
1. Mercure Da Nang French Village Ba Na Hills
I list this hotel first because I often booked this hotel for my customer when Ba Na Hills was new to tourists. The services were excellent for value. It is located in the Ba Na Hills tourism complex. My customers often stayed here for one or two nights, and many people chose this hotel for their honeymoon.
This place is far away from daily life and is located in romantic scenes like a beautiful flower garden, romantic golden bridge, cable car, and cool weather. Like staying in a small European village.
It is also suitable for someone who loves to be in the quiet mountain area. The hotel room includes cable cars – please check again when you book a room here.
2. Beach Hotel
The Beach hotel is located on Da Nang backpacker street. Near the beach, good local restaurants and seafood restaurants.
The hotel rooms are clean, the service is good, and the price is even better for its location. When I booked 8 rooms for a tour group, there was a big strong hit in Da Nang at that time.
Da Nang authorities warned tourists to leave the city the day before the storm hit the city. I had to cancel that big booking on the day my customers were meant to check in. The hotel manager at that time did not charge me any fees for the late cancelling the booking as he said the safety of customers was the most important thing.
3. Eco Green Boutique Hotel Da Nang
Eco Green Boutique Hotel Da Nang is located on An Thuong 3 street – Da Nang backpacker street. I did not book this hotel for my customers, but my cousin and her family stayed in this hotel three times. Then, my friend who lives in Japan came to Da Nang and stayed in this hotel 2 times. They love this hotel. the service, rooms, and locations are amazing. You can find many places to eat just outside the hotel. It is very close to My Khe beach too.
I was going to recommend 5 hotels and resorts, but unfortunately that 2 hotels that I often booked before one closed due to the impact of the covid-19. The other one got low reviews from recent customers, so I stay with these three hotels because I know the quality of the hotel and its service. I will update more hotels when I go to Da Nang and check them out myself this year.
